CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Beyond the Rainbow:

The Wizard of Oz is one of my all time favorite movies. It seems that everything in life somehow relates to the movie. We all want to be smarter like The Scarecrow. We all want to have more heart like the Tin Man and we all want to be braver like The Cowardly Lion .. but most of all, we all want to find our way back home.

The people in our lives are wicked witches, always causing strife and angering us only to melt away when confronted. Then there are the good witches, they come floating down into our lives to encourage us and give us direction. They let us fumble through the darkness of our lives, never telling us we have the power to change our lives right here and now. Then there are the Munchkins ... The small un-noticed people in our lives .. that give us joy and entertain us. We all owe them. Stop and notice how many there really are. At sometime in our lives we're all Munchkins to someone. That's just the way it works. Then there's The Wizard himself. We all want to believe... that somewhere out there ... there is someone who has all the answers. He's not out there. Take a look inside. We all go somewhere over the rainbow in search of ourselves ... never knowing ... it's all right here in our own backyard in the back of our minds ... next to Hope, Faith and Joy ... waiting patiently.

Now click your heels together three times ... .

Today my work will reshape the world we live in ...
I'm not afraid ... Are you ?
