CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

It must be the thin air...

It’s snowing today. It has snowed here before .. I’ve just never seen it snow here in February.

Lately I’ve been of narrow thoughts.
I haven’t been remembering my friends.
I haven’t been focused on anything.
It’s kind of like the tiny dust particles floating in the air have obscured my view of what’s been going on.
Late winter has been ok.
My health has been ok.
Everything has been ok.
That’s the problem. Ok isn’t all that great. Ok means you’re complacent. Warm and cozy in your vanilla colored recliner .. watching boxing on TV .. with just the right amount of snacks. It’s just ok.
That’s not what my life runs on. My life runs on the better. I don’t run the ¼ mile at a warm idle. Hills don’t get climbed by me on the back of a tired donkey. I’m the one that drives the pace. So what has happened ??
It must be the thin air... or the snow.

KO not OK.
