              Colors for a Ritual Robe
Blue:
Calms and soothes.  Lack of the blue in the spectrum can cause irratation and nervousness.  Too much can can be depressing, as the expression "Felling Blue" indicates.  Lapis or royal blues however, would usually make a good robe.
Green:
Increases creativity.  Lack of green can contribute to mental lethargy and cliched thinking.  Green is the most prevalent color in the spectrum and difficult to 'overdose' with.
Magenta and Fuchsia:
These are red-heavy purples which are more stimulating than the blue-heavy varities.
Orange:
Stimulating.  It is similar to yellow light and is a healing color.
Purple, Violet and Lavender:
Since all of thses shades contain varying amounts of both red and blue, these colors can be very balancing while exerting a mildly stimulating effect.
Red:
Incresaes energy; mentally and sexually stimulating.  Lack of the red in the spectrum can be depressing.  Too much red can lead to restlessness, irratability and anger.
Turquoise:
Calmiing, but without the sedating effect of some pure blues.  Turquoise can provide a euphoric influence and is a good color for spiritual work.
Yellow:
Generally a stimulating color.  Lack of yellow light it depressing.  Some yello-light deficiencies can be counteracted by using a heat-lamp.
