G'ed and Lorenth's Weyrling and Adult Page Go BACK to the Impression

G'ed and his Lorenth have grown a bit. G'ed's wife Syncha finally arrived to Jerdan to take a look at this wonder of wonders her husband has bonded to. "He's so cute!" She said at first. She kind of stopped saying that when G'ed and she would have to wash and oil the quickly growing Brown! "Lorenth is going to make a strong impression on the Weyrhold," G'ed said, patting the huge head of his dragon. "But we must get back now. I think we have a wing spot too, but I must make sure." G'ed said his good byes, and climbed upon Lorenth's neck. All his things were stored in carrysacks and tied securely to the harness, and his little white flitter Tevin chirped and flew around his head. "We'll see you there," he said to Trance and the others. "And I know there will be a spot for you all." They rose into the air, glided over the weyr at Jerdan one last time, and then betweened back to Alabaster. There, it was true. There was a wing waiting for him. And an honored spot in the leadership as well! The Artistic Bent Wing decided that he'd be ideal as a wing rider and soon G'ed proved his worth by leading a Fall fight, and being the only one of the group to come away completely unscathed by Thread. He earned that Wing Leader spot, and kept it in his heart that he was now in charge of... well, a bunch of loonies, but that was another story.
