Wattle Point wind farm is at the foot of Yorke Peninsula in South Australia.

The images on this page have been compressed for faster loading - this has lead to noticeable loss of quality in some images

Several cameras were used for the images of April 2005, some were scanned from 35mm negatives. The photos of August 2007 were taken using a Canon PowerShot S2 IS 5MP digital camera.

Another line-up of turbines A technique called 'high dynamic range' (HDR) photography, using a combination of three images, each exposed at different levels, allows a more 'correct' exposure of parts of the view that have highly differing illumination levels. In this view the shadows were very dark and the sky near the horizon was very bright. Taken August 2007

The use of a wide angle lens gives an interesting perspective, and the light is nice. Using a super wide angle lens (19mm) on a 35mm SLR. Taken April 2005
