I had a very quiet and restful day today so my body should be recharged for the steep climb out of Lehigh Gap. The temperature reached 93 degrees today and is expected to be of the same order for the next few days. That's one good reason that I have to get out early tomorrow morning.

A number of hikers came in and out of the council basement today. Tonight it looks like about eight people will be here.

Palmerton (marked on the map half way along the red line) is a very quiet town with little to do. I feel a little sorry for the teenagers who live here. Myself, I visited the library twice and walked up and down the main street quite a few times, so it's time for me to move on back to the AT.

Well, that's all for now. Goodnight all.
