Carlini might be an interesting person for anyone seeking truth in this matter to talk to. Having given Channel 13 many years of service as an employee, Carlini was tossed out. An Italian Mafia boss was caught in 2006 because he'd thought it was beneath his dignity to do his own laundry--and a trail of laundry bundles led to his hideaway. Likewise, Carlini did quite a bit of dirty laundry for her boss, Mr. Michael Fiorelli, a venal, sociopathic media bully boy, whose hideaway was in Ohio. Another adjective describing Mr. Fiorelli is "sadistic." My value as a slave had been enhanced when in 1981 I'd published an analysis of social security demographics. The following year that analysis was plagiarized by a commission headed by former Federal Reserve Chairman, Alan Greenspan. Although I've plenty of evidence to support this claim--evidence which I've presented often to the public, within my limits as an indie publisher--the matter has never been reported in the national mass media. After Greenspan had left office, his family members tried to marginalize me, but their efforts also added to the incriminating evidence. Greenspan's wife worked for NBC and local NBC reporters have been quite proactive in the program of harassment I've been receiving. In addition to Pat Carlini, Mr. Kevin Rader has participated in the harassment. Reporters from other stations have also sometimes been involved, including Barbara Lewis, and Mr. Kevin Gregory. I can identify those individuals with certainty because of the specific, personal, interactive nature of their harassment. Mr. Ed Sorensen, who was with RTV6, was also involved. in 2000 or 2001, there was a shake-up at that station which I suspected had something to do with the situation I'm describing. At that time, Mr. Sorensen left his job, along with two evening co-anchors. One of them, Dianne Willis, had also been involved. The experience from my end is similar to a phone conversation, but without an actual phone in evidence and without the ability to hang up or refuse a call. As mentioned, my perception is that I'm also under visual surveillance. These days, doctors can insert fiber optic tubes into people and get pictures of the inside of organs. They could do the same with my aparartment, and I have specific reasons for thinking that indeed they have. It hasn't only been local journalists who've been involved in harassing me, but national personailites as well. In the later group, I can name Stephanie Powers and Valerie Harper, both during their time working to produce NBC shows. Stephanie was involved in interactive voices inside my apartment, and that was similar to the treatment I received from local reporters. Susan Saint James, who was married to an NBC executive, also seemed to be involved, although in a sliightly different way. To read about her, click the link at left. NBC actor David Spade presented yet a third variation on the behavior I'm describing. When I called the owners of the Indianapolis NBC affiliate to complain, I'm almost certain that it was Mr. Spade who went into action on the other end of the line. Dispatch Printing Conpany of Columbus, Ohio were the owners in question. That name seemed ordinary enough for a business, and I'd called their business phone number to make a complaint to a company representative. Instead, I found myself playing make-believe theater games with Mr. Spade. He had a distinctive voice which I thought I recognized from his role in sitcoms. And during our conversation he talked, with many interesting but improbable statements, like a character in a sitcom. Theater games are something they teach in acting school. I called Mr. Spade's publicist in California to ask for a comment. Thank goodness, the publicist wasn't playing theater games over the phone, at least not at that time. On the other hand, they hadn't provided me with any sort of comment as of 6/7/08. As mentioned, my perception was that I was also under visual surveillance. These days, doctors can insert fiber optic tubes into people and get pictures of the inside of organs. They could do the same with my apartment, and I had specific reasons for thinking that indeed they had. However I don't want to concentrate here entirely on portraying myself as a victim. Lack of ethics, lack of courtesy tends to lead eventually to a lose-lose-lose-lose-lose situation. I could add more "lose"s, but you get the idea. Consider, for example the bizarre spectacle of former Sen. Fred Thompson running for president. Thompson announced his candidcy in late summer 2007. How did what NBC had been doing to people in the name of profit--and Thompson's own role as an actor on Law & Order--make Thompson in any way suitable to be president? In September 2007 I called Thompson's press office to ask that very question. I spoke to Darrell. Although he didn't have a response, he did seem to already know about me as a potential problem, perhaps because of what had happened to former vice-president, Dan Quayle in 1992. (See article on this site.) What NBC was being allowed to do to people was an absolute violation of everything the US founding fathers wanted in terms of individual rights and human dignity. It was hard to decide which was more disgusting: Candidate Fred Thompson's flattery of public officials in his role on Law & Order, or the fact that he himself had been a US senator, or the fact that he was taking big money from NBC. I also criticized Candidate Rudolph Giuliani posture as a former high public official during the 2007/2008 primary. Like Prosecutor Carl Brizzi in Indianapolis, Giuliani seemed taken in by media flattery of officialdom and seemed to regard all behavior by General Electric as legal ipso facto. Although Law & Order presented itself as realistic crime drama, my experiences suggested a more accurate description would have been: "voyeurism, rewritten and recycled--and often having a severely deleterious effect on the parties being victimized by the voyeurism." How did the producers of Law and Order divine "criminal intent" if not by spying on marginal people prior to a crime? Could Law & Order producers be tempted to goad people into committing crimes? The people who had harassed me had tried on many occassions, by means of whispering, insinuating voices to try to mold and motivate my mentality. However, the things that they wanted me to were so extrene and so obviously not in my interest that I wasn't much tempted. Now, to ensure that victims had no human recourse, Law & Order scripts frequently dished out their own brand of self-serving pseudo-psychiatric information about people who heard voices or who thought their TV was talking to them. I didn't know whether or not it was a coincidence, but one Carolyn McCormick appeared on the series as a psyciatrist. And one Michael McCormick was also featured on a number of episodes. I found a 2007 photo of that actor, Michael McCormick, on the internet. He was in a Broadway play called Curtains. The play also featured David Hyde Pierce, who'd been in the NBC series Frasier. Was actor McCormick my former neighbor? I wasn't sure, but allowing for makeup, it seemed possible--blue eyes and wide teeth in both cases. So, as a former US attorney and New York Mayor, it seemed likely that the bedazzled Giuliani had allowed New York to be plundered, not only by Al Qaeda, but also by what might be called a "fanatical Hollywood sect." It wouldn't have been seemly for me to have tried to judge which attacker had contributed more to New York's decline. But, of course, I should properly aver here that most of the people who are in theater or who live in Hollywood are decent and law-abiding. Thespians, generally, shouldn't be looked upon as wrongdoers, in the same way that Muslum generally shouldn't be seen as dangerous. In both cases, only fanatic elements deserve the attention of government authorities, and, in both cases, fanatic elements are a tiny minority. While I could describe my own situation accurately and explain why I didn't think I was the only one receiving such treatment, I didn't know the extent of the problem for society. I thought it was fair to say, however, that no one running for president in 2007 seemed to have enough intergrity to look into a very serious matter that surely deserved attention. Now, if we're to be honest, for a change, about what happened in the early '80s, I have a very credible record regarding social security financing. It's possible, in view of that record, that I might be able to produce something that would help in managing the approaching baby boomer retirement financial crisis. But the nightly harassment I was receiving as late as 2008 made it hard for me to work. By that time, the harassment had become less servere, probably because my efforts to expose improprieties had caused embarassment in certain quarters. Still, in 2008, a question remained: Would the failure of baby boomer retirement funds be an just outcome, given the fact that I've never received recognition or compensation for my efforts? | A number of years ago I sent certified letters to some of the people who were harassing me, to see if they might want to justify their conduct. None replied. One of them, Mr. Kevin Gregory, still works at Indianapolis TV station. The receipt for the certified letter I sent him may be viewed by clicking this line. | ||||||||
