Mt. Fuji
I have just successfully climbed the mountain and descended back to the Fifth Stage. In the photo, I was just about ready to leave altogether and cycle back home.
As in climbing, most accidents/injuries occur on the descent. There is a great danger of over-heating your rims where you will either blow your tires or get brake fade (brakes do not grip the rim for its too hot.) Bottom line: take your time as you descend and do not over use your brakes.
