    This photo was taken on top of Mt. Fuji. I have more photos of my  climbs in Gallery 2, but decided to put this photo here because of the vending machines!
     No matter where you are in Japan, you will most likely come across one of these. These machines contain anything from drinks, rice, cooked meals, alcohol, tabbaco, underwear, computer accessories, and so on. Since the Japanese like convenience, what better place than at the end of your 3776m climb. I didn't buy anything for the drinks were 400 yen (about $5 CND).
