carmel_sweetie: What has been your favorite scene?
David Tom: I've never really thought about it. There's a lot of good ones to choose from, especially when a scene goes smoothly and everyone's on their toes and a scene goes right. Those are the scenes that I like to do, when you can walk off a stage feeling good.
David Lago: I have to say the scenes that just aired this last week, where Raul was in convulsions. In the hospital when I fell off the bed, I've never done anything like that before. I got to talk to doctors and find out all the details. It was fun doing research. There were stuntmen there, they had to put pads on the floor. It was actually pretty high up cause I couldn't see where I was going.

honey_dripper: This is from Courtney in Michigan - David Tom, what makes the chemistry so good between you and Ashley Bashioum and will she be back?
David Tom: First of all, Ashley will be back. As far as chemistry goes, I think the fact that we've been working together a long time makes it pretty good because we know how to play off of each other.

labidebones: This question is for David Lago: What was it like working on the set of Seventh Heaven?
David Lago: Hi. It was fun. A whole new world working on film as opposed to tapes at Y&R. It was cool working with new people, a new cast and crew. A new learning experience.

macnbillyonline: What are your hobbies?
David Tom: I like to play the drums. Music is definitely a hobby of mine.
David Lago: Music, also and I like to write.

raulsgal19: Dave L, I love your work on Y&R. Do you think this recent dramatic storyline with Raul's hospitalization will really make those Daytime Emmy voters notice your great acting skills even more?
David Lago: I hope so! Unfortunately, I can't use those this year. I don't know, but yeah, sure.

sweet_girl08: And to David Tom: What was the experience like working on Swing Kids?
David Tom: Swing Kids was one of the best films I've ever shot. It was shot in Prague. It was one of the most exciting times in my entire life and I'll always remember it.

azngurl1108: Was it fun playing on Wheel of Fortune?
David Lago: Yeah, it was a little nerve-wracking to tell the truth. I don't know what it is, I've been watching the game since I was a little kid but when I was on the set I froze up. I played for the charity The Ark Trust (you can check them out at www.arktrust.org) it's an awesome animal protection charity. They track down places that abuse or exploit animals and bring them to the media's attention.

suzymom_1999: Where do you guys see yourselves in 10 years, professionally and also in your personal life?
David Lago: 10 years from now, professionally, hopefully acting in films, hopefully films I've written, directed or produced. Personally, I'd like to be married by then with a couple of kids and a nice home.
David Tom: Hopefully, still climbing the acting ladder. That's pretty much it, just keep on going. Do film and TV.

iluvtheoilers: I'm a SoapCity member - whitfeb22 is my name!, My question is, who is your biggest inspiration, or hero in life?
David Tom: My favorite actors that I've been inspired by most are Robert De Niro or Al Pacino. My personal hero is a friend of mine named Dominic Daniels who played the role of my dad when I was really young.
David Lago: The reason I got into acting was Robin Williams, he inspired me at the age of nine. I was a huge fan of the Popeye cartoons and when I saw the movie I loved it and when I saw Mork and Mindy I watched him on that. Ever since then I've seen all his films. My long term goal is to work with him in a film. In my personal life, I would have to say my parents. They both made me who I am today. Their support and love.

flower_rose_2000_ca: What are your favorite TV shows?
David Lago: If I ever watch TV, I would say The Simpsons and Friends occasionally. I do watch Y&R. I got hooked on it man, it's true what they say. That's really about it, I don't really watch too much TV. I'm usually playing Nintendo.
David Tom: I'm a big Friends fan.

davidlagofan: How do you feel about adding to the number of Latinos on television.
David Lago: Well, I think it's great. I know the Latin market is getting bigger and bigger in the entertainment business. If I can contribute to that and get some cool Latin roles then that's great.

billyandmacfan: Do the writers really listen to the fans? If they did...why aren't listening to all the Billy and Mac FANS...what do we have to do?
David Tom: Well, you're going to have to keep watching. It's gonna heat up soon. If you ever have any feedback just write to Y&R.

davidlagofan: If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you guys go?
David Lago: I would like to visit the Pyramids, but like actually go inside and then check them out.
David Tom: I would love to go to Australia. That's where I really want to go, I haven't been there yet. I'm starting to take scuba diving lessons to get certified. I would love to do a dive in the Great Barrier reef.

davidlagofan: What are you guys going to do when you are in NY for the Emmys?
David Lago: Check out cool clubs, restaurants, check out a couple Broadway shows, Central Park, Statue of Liberty. Do all the touristy stuff.
David Tom: I'm gonna have a great time. Use it for half work and vacation, hopefully more vacation than work. See some sights.

y_r4evr: David, where do you keep your Emmy from last year?
David Tom: It's on my mantle above my fireplace.

pen_e_lope17: What type of music are you into? Who's your favorite singer/band?
David Lago: I like all kinds of music. Rock and roll, hip hop to country. My favorite band is Counting Crows.
David Tom: I listen to pretty much everything except I'm not a big country fan. My favorite band is The Cure, Robert Smith.

David Tom: It's a definite shock, one day it's Ashley and the next it's Nicole. But Nicole was really fun, she jumped into it and did pretty well, I thought. She made the scenes go pretty well.

flower_rose_2000_ca: What celebrities do you have crushes on?
David Lago: Actually my girlfriend, Alexis.
David Tom: None really.

alo172001: For David Tom and David Lago: Up to this point, what has been your greatest accomplishment on Y&R so far. P.S. Your the reason I watch the show.
David Tom: You go into work and everyday's a challenge. To walk away from the set and be able to pat yourself on your back is an accomplishment.
David Lago: That goes ditto for me.

y_r4evr: Have you guys seen any good movies lately?
David Lago: Yeah, I went to the premiere of Forsaken. It's a cool vampire movie.
David Tom: I can't remember the last movie I saw, I'm so busy.

stefmac15: David T. do you still keep in touch with your ex band members
David Tom: Yeah. In fact, the lead singer Andreas and I have been hanging out a lot lately, it's nice because he was my best friend for a while.

moonsnitch: My question is for David Lago: you make seizures look so real, how do you do it?
David Lago: Well, I can seize on cue! I once was walking through a local mall in my town and there was a lady in the middle of a Food Court who was diabetic and was hyperventilating. She went into seizures. I must have been like 10 years old. I remember people running up with sugar packets trying to put them into her mouth. So I kind of had that vision in my mind. On top of that I asked the doctors. The doctors that were around at the time were real doctors. I consulted with them what actually happens to your feet, your hands, your eyes.

arararoo: David Tom, you mentioned in a previous interview that you would like to work with your sister Heather. What sort of storyline would you like to see between the two of you? Or what project would you like to work on together outside of Y&R?
David Tom: A strictly platonic one. They're never gonna put us together. I'd like to do some really good drama. I'd love to work with her because I know it would definitely work. The first movie we ever did was Leslie's Rainbow. We played brother and sister on that. That was great.

armywife22000: Do you hang out with the any of the cast members from Y&R?
David Lago: I hang out with some of the younger cast members. A lot of the older dudes are married.
David Tom: Pretty much Alexis, David. Whoever's working that day. Everyone's fun.

bellaprincipessa03: Out of all the fan events you went to which city did you like the best?
David Tom: Toronto and New York.
David Lago: The last one I went to was Indianapolis. I liked that one and Grand Forks, North Dakota.

robby6887: Both David's what is your favorite sport?
David Tom: I like to play soccer but I love to watch football and basketball.
David Lago: I don't really play sports. I like watching football but I don't really follow sports at all.

allergic24: I'd like to know if the Davids could give their characters any advice what would they say?
David Tom: What advice? I'd like to see Billy stronger and become a stronger person.
David Lago: Stop meddling in everyone else's business and pay attention to what's right in front of him.

cherry_347: Do you guys have an official site?
David Lago: I do, it's davidlago.com.
David Tom: Very very soon there will be a davidtom.com. Very soon, putting it together now.

macfan200: Who is your favorite actor to work with?
David Lago: On the show, I like working with Dave. I do a lot of my best scene work with him. He gives me a lot to play off of.
David Tom: I like working with Dave Lago too. I think our scenes go very well.

Fee93: What is the first thing you notice about a woman, looks, personality or neither.
David Lago: Honestly, the first thing you notice about a person when you meet them is the looks. Then I go for the personality to see if we have things in common, if we can actually keep a conversation going.
David Tom: I generally like to get to know somebody before I start dating. I think friends are better, friends stay longer, and if you want to move on from there then go for it.

sweet_like_candy005: Both Davids, Boxers or Briefs?
David Tom: Briefs.
David Lago: Neither!

Queenie23_56: What the funniest blooper you've seen or done while shooting?
David Tom: There was a scene where I was kissing Ashley and we got in the moment and everybody disappeared the camera crew and everyone else had left the stage and then they turned off the lights.
David Lago: Once I had to say a line to Ashley and I accidentally reworded it a little bit. It totally had a different meaning and it was kind of a rude remark. I didn't realize it until they played it back.

jpne1997: David L, your character seemed interested in computers and the internet at one time. Do you get on the internet a lot? What are both of you guys favorite website?
David Tom: I just got a computer, so I haven't done too much exploring. I'm totally internet braindead. I don't really have a favorite website yet, but I will.
David Lago: I check out a couple sites every now and then. I use email every once in a while and that's about it.

dylan62499: I'm looking at the these names your fans have and I have to ask, does it scare you at all to see so many people that are interested in everything you do?
David Tom: I like it that the fans are so interested in the storyline, it's really an honor. And when they come up to talk about it I don't mind at all, it's really nice to hear what the fans are thinking. All the fans I've met have been great.
David Lago: It's a honor to know that people out there are interested in me and what my interests are. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have a job.

raulsgal19: Do you guys have a favorite guest star that's visited Y&R?
David Lago: BB King, yeah.
David Tom: BB King or Jesse Ventura.

blondchicka18: Do either of you guys have a hidden talent, that you wouldn't mind sharing?
David Lago: I can cook! I'm actually pretty good.
David Tom: Many people don't know I'm in a band.

Java_Joey: You both are obviously in great shape. What do you do for a workout and/or other things to stay active in such great shape?
David Tom: I just workout at least four times a week. Lifting and cardio.
David Lago: I lift weights and do Tae Bo twice a week.

canadian_hot_chic2001: Do you guys have tattoos?
David Tom: Nope. I don't.
David Lago: No, I don't either.

Java_Joey: If you were on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and needed to use a phone-a-friend lifeline, who would be on your top of the list?
David Tom: My buddy Jose Martinez.
David Lago: My friend Joe Berk.

nictrina: How old were you when you got your first kiss?
David Lago: Thirteen.
David Tom: Twelve.

dtomgirl: How does it feel to be nominated again?
David Tom: It feels great. It's definitely an honor. It's going to be exciting in New York.
David Lago: It's a huge honor. It feels as great as it did the first time.

djnbsc51: Both David's if either of you were offered a permanent role on a prime time series which one would you want it to be?
David Tom: I'd say maybe ER.
David Lago: Buffy.

pacca60: What advice would you give to some one trying to get a career in acting?
David Tom: I would say get into class and get into a union and get an agent and don't give up.
David Lago: Yeah, same thing. Focus first on getting prepared in acting class, get your pictures done. Then get an agent.

ducky_me140: Hey guys, who has the best sense of humor on the set?
David Lago: Christian LeBlanc who plays Michael Baldwin, he's always smilin' and jokin' around.
David Tom: Christian LeBlanc or Jeanne Cooper.

chloe1230: What do you guys do to stay grounded?
David Tom: I have my mom and my two sisters to slap me down to keep me in line if I get too big for my britches.
David Lago: Same thing. My family kicks me around if I get out of hand. I have the same friends for the past 25 years.

lemonlime_limbo: To: Both Davids; what's your favorite junk food?
David Lago: I have a really bad sweet tooth. Pie, chocolate and sweet candy. German Chocolate cake.
David Tom: I like cheesecake. That's my favorite.

big_yandrfan: Would you either of you guys like to be on Survivor?
David Lago: Sure, it would be fun.
David Tom: Sure. That'd be great.

lobobones: If you weren't an actor what would you be?
David Tom: A musician.
David Lago: A musician or director.
