It seems that a hankering for home ownership runs in the Tom family. Not only after his big sis, Heather (Victoria), and his twin sister, Nicholle (of THE NANNY) each put down roots in homes of their own, David Tom has followed suit. "I bought a house about a mile from Heather, and Nicholle is about three blocks away from her," says Tom, now the proud owner of a two bedrood beauty with a den and hardwood floors, located in Los Angeles. The neighborhood, attracted Tom not just because its near his sisters, but also because its quiet, had lots of trees, and is close to work - "only about a 15 minute drive in the morning and only a half hour at night." And what was it about this particular house, which Tom bought after only seeing just two others? "The garden sold me," he says. "It's amazing. I have tangerine, organge, lemon and lime trees, and all the herbs you could hope for." On the other hand, he admits, the interior "needs a little work. I'll retile in the kitchen and bathroom and pain a few rooms."
