The pulsating surf, bursting sunlight and dancing dolphins made for a perfect afternoon photo shoot at Malibu beach. Between setups, five of daytimes's most electric young stars - Y&R's David Tom , Ashley Bashioum, Amber Tamblyn, Jason Cook and Jesse Metcalfe - tossed a Frisbee and shared laughs in the sand.

"Good dinner and good company. It doesn't matter if its a home-cooked meal or if we go to a restaurant, as long as it's with someone who is easygoing and fun .. and we're comfortable together."

"From my sisters!"
Where do you like to shop?"
"I shop at different stores. Sometimes, I like to go to thrift stores."
What was the latest DVD you bought?
"I just bought The Abyss, and I love it. The picture from a DVD is clearer than a videotape, and you get more for the money. DVS's show how the movie was filmed - they have a lot of different, cool stuff. I hardly use my VCR anymore."
Who is your hero?
"My buddy, Dominie Daniels. He taught me a lot about life and he pretty much raised me. He's the father figure in my life."
What tiem do you usually go to bed?
"Two in the morning. I'm a night person."
