What can day trading software cost me?
The price of day trading software can vary greatly. It is better that the software that you use for day trading provides charting as well as order execution build into the platform (even though many institutional portals like Currenex, LavaFX, HotSpotFxi, etc. don't come with charting; so you'll need a customized platform [fron end] to access them).
There are many people that use software that provide charts, news and other data, but lack order entry. This is not good enough. Top-of-the-line stock day trading software platforms like Real Tick can cost hundreds of dollars a month. Free day trading programs for stocks are not very good in general. On the other hand, there are a lot of free software platforms in the market to day trade currencies that are very good and provide order entry integration and direct executions.
