Today we went to the Botanical garden in Guangzhou, It was the same one that we visited with Nicole in 2004. They have done alot of work to the park since then, and they are preparing for the Spring Festival that starts later this month. Danielle and Nicole have been inseparable and Danielle is very kind and patient with her. As soon as we entered the park the girls were happy to pose for pictures together and then ran up the stairs arm in arm. After the garden we stopped at a market area where you can buy pearls and clothing. Danielle needed some more pants and we were looking for dresses to no avail. I had to leave the store for a couple of minutes to exchange money, and during that time Danielle started giving Doris a hard time. From that point on it deteriorated until we returned to the hotel. When we got into our room we could see that Danielle was getting more and more upset, so we called our guide Genie and she came to our room and started talking to Danielle. She then asked if she could take Danielle for a walk. when they returned we were told that Danielle is very happy to be with us and she gets sad when she does something that makes us unhappy with us. She also told Genie that we kiss her too much! I guess we have to let her take her time with displays of affection, which is understandable. The rest of the day. and into the evening went great with Danielle sticking with Doris and communicating more with her. at one point Danielle even slipped and said "Mama Wa inee " which translates to mama I love you. We then went to dinner at a restaurant that serves western food and she asked for soup,chicken wings, onion rings, apples, and pasta with meat sauce. She finished just about everything, the girl can put it away. We ended the day in our room with the girls in their bed watching an advance release copy (bootleg) of Happy Feet. Tomorrow one of the families in our group, The Payne's are hosting a Superbowl party in their suite. Kick off is at 7:25 in the A.M. At halftime we plan to go to the restaurant for breakfast. In the afternoon we are going to the zoo. The girls are looking forward to it. That's all for now, Miss everyone, See you soon
