Hi Classmates,

First of all, I would like to wish all of you the best for 2002!

Just before our 45th class reunion I discovered a class web site developed by
Leigh Henson of the Lincoln Community High School Class of 1960.  After
attending our class reunion in September, it became a personal retirement
project to learn how to construct a web site for our class.  I thought the site would be a
great way for us to become better "connected" through e-mail, old photos, and
other class news as we look forward to our big "50" in a few year.

The web site is a little primitive but I am continuing to learn.  The site will be a
continuous work in progress.  I welcome your suggestions and contributions as
my little "memory box" in the basement contains few things that I could find to
use on the web pages.  If there is a willing experienced web designer out there
among you...go for it!  We could have several sites.

Here are a few things that I would like for you to keep in mind:
 

• Send contributions and suggestions to:  dbjohnso@dpc.net
• "English Police"--keep in mind that I am old and retired--informality is acceptable.
• My web construction tool is Netscape Composer--therefore "what you see is not always what you get."
• Those of you using a dial-up provider will find the site loads slowly due to graphics.
• Placing the site on geocities is "free."  You will have to endure some pop-up ads.

Give it a try!  I'll try to update it often enough to keep it interesting.
