In the beginning of the episode Goku’s heart disease kicks in as he fights Android 19. As Piccolo watches he remembers what Trunks said to Goku when he first got back from Yardrat. Krillin gives Goku a senzu bean, but 19 attacks him before the senzu could take effect. Gohan says the only way the disease will stop is with the antidote. 19 kicks the SSJ out of Goku then starts to absorb his power. This is when everyone notices that it is time to help Goku but 20 won’t let them. Piccolo won’t have it, but he gets a laser blast in the chest. Goku struggles to survive. Suddenly out of nowhere Vegeta kicks 19 in the face. He says that destiny has left killing Kakarott in his hands. He also tells the others to take Goku and give him the antidote. Yamcha takes Goku. 20 boasts that he will easily kill Goku’s friends.
Back where Bulma and Yajarobi are Yagarobi is playing with Trunks and Bulma proposes they go to see Vegeta. Yagarobi goes uneasily. The good guys notice that many parts of Trunks prophecy are not coming true ,so they may live. Vegeta tells 19 that Gero did not include the battle on Namek in his database so he would not have anyway of knowing what a Super Saiya-jin was. And as you would guess (or know) Vegeta then transforms into a SSJ himself. Then he tells how he was motivated to become a SSJ. 20 still thinks they are no match for them. Then suddenly 19 attacks. Vegeta was not hurt at all! |
