1) MLK Event
We have received a $1000 from grant from the Capitol Hill Community Foundation
which will go toward advertising, and an ALS interpreter. The Capitol Hill Youth
Chorus will very likely participate. Jill will have a press release Monday for
the event.
2) Fund Raising
We did gift wrapping at Hoopla Traders last weekend, but are not yet certain
if we will continue this weekend.
3) Pride
We will apply for the DC Commission on the Arts special projects grant in March
to help finance the Arts Stage. BHT will announce if we have received the grant
we applied for from them sometime in January.
4) Summer Production
Next month interested people will be invited to attend a meeting that will decide
the play for the summer production. Discussion both in the meeting and with
cast members from previous productions suggests that staying in our Gilbert
& Sullivan niche has advantages both in drawing performers and audiences.
5) Next meeting
Is tentatively set for 27 January, location to be announced.
