April 05 Meeting Notes

Present - Jill Strachan, David Bielenberg, Carol Wheeler, TC Duong, Robert York

Jill, Carol, and David toured the Arts Corner location which is across Pennsylvania Ave. from last year's location. We were hoping to have the stage on the west side of the street and be able to hand art on the chain link fence.

We asked Robert get better signage for the corner (maybe ballons).

We decided to have Tuckey MC and GMCW was gracious enough to get the table for the Consortium booth. We do need staff for the Consortium table. If your organization doesn't have its own table, feel free to put materials on the consortium table.

We also agreed to invite back the Queer youth perofrming group from Philly.

As in previous years, the consortium will buy an ad in the Pride Guide.

The Consortium also has a booth for Black Lesbian and Gya Pride and please feel free to come and staff the booth. I will be sending out the text from last year's brochure for edits so it will be read for BLGP and Capitol Pride.
