Colonel Clay was commander of 275th Armored Field
Artillery Bn
from 10 April, 1944 to 24 August, 1945.
Commissioned 13 June, 1934 from Ohio State University. He was
called to active duty as Battery Commander, C Battery, 43rd FA Bn,
8th Inf. Div. and served in numorous commands and school positions
including command of 24th Infantry Division Artillery, Will Kaserne,
Munchen, Germany. Col. Clay retired 1 September 1967, |
