~ Cyber Friend ~
by Kathleen Schachter
Too many lonely night I'd spent
Feeling sad and blue
Never thought they'd ever end
Then I began to chat with you
Thoughts of you, now I know
Are not reality
Can't touch your face or see your eyes
Or fulfill my fantasy
Why should I feel this way
Don't really understand it
Can't touch, can't kiss, can't hug
Well, not in reality
And although I've never met you
I feel I know you still
You're funny, sweet and sexy
You've given me quite a thrill
Something set my soul on fire
The moment that we were
When did you pull at my heartstrings
Seems kinda like a blur
So, if we never meet again
Or chat, or e-mail ever
Just wanted to let you know
You'll be my cyber friend forever
