It's not magic and it's free
It's not in a prescription,
It's not in an IV.
It punctuates our Laughter,
It sparkles in our hearts.
It simmers under sorrows,
And dissipates our fears.
Do you know what Hope is?
It's reaching past today.
It's dreaming of tomorrow,
It's trying a new way.
It's pushing past impossible
It's pounding on the door.
It's questioning the Answers,
It's always seeking more.
It's rumors of a breakthrough,
It's whispers of a cure,
A rollercoaster ride
Of remedies, unsure.
Do you know what Hope is?
It's candy for the soul,
It's perfume for the spirit,
To share it, Makes you Whole.

Everything you need to be happy
is inside of you.
The purpose of life is to grow
into the best human being you can.
Change is inevitable,
so stop resisting
and surrender to life's flow.
All obstacles are lessons in disguise,
embrace them and learn from them.
Your mind creates
your experience of reality,
so make your mind your friend.
Fear will steal your aliveness,
make your courage bigger
than your fear.
You must Love yourself
before you can really give Love
or receive Love from anyone else.
All relationships are your mirrors,
and all people are your teachers.
True freedom comes from
how you respond to life
and not from what life does to you.
Friends are like stars;
and sometimes; on a gentle summer night
or in the clear, cold, stillness of winter,
it's enough to look up at them,
and admire the way they shine.
