Important Events: As we started off with this new version of our website, I thought of adding a few more pages to our website. One of them was to add a page marking the important events within the group members. If you feel there are some more events that should be be added to this list, do let me know.

July 96 : The batch of MCA year 1996 started at Dharmsingh Desai Institute of Technology. After a compitative exam of 500+ students, 33 were shortlisted. But soon a few people left the college for other courses at different universities and the batch finally turned out to be of 20 people.

Nov 96 : The first semester just flew by and exams just ended. It was a hectic semester, with a few who had just joined the class a month ago. The thoughest subject was probably DMS (Discrete Mathametics Structures) with a few getting clean bowled there.

July 97 : The third semester started. The number of people staying in Nadiad grew compared to the number of people commuting from ahmedabad and baroda.

Apart from that, there were several nice moments in extra curricular activites too. In sports, Cricket and Football, we became the college champions! Then in cultural activities we did present a pathetic drama at the annual function, and Sanju sang a few songs and Biren co-hosted the show. There were other achivement also like, Pratik and Sanju in Antakshari team, Jitin, Mahavir in dumb charades, Alpesh and Biren at collage, Poorav in photography, Biren at speech competition, and then in the Patriotic Group Song too we found a place in the winners!

August 98 : The fifth semester started a month back. A few companies started comming for campus recruitments. The first one was PMSI-Indore where Pratik got selected. Then came TCS-Ahmedabad, who picked-up Ravi. Then it was PCS-Mumbai where Biren got into. The last was IPCL where Jitin joined.

December 98 : The sixth and the final semester started. This was the semester for industrial training. Many of the guys got absorbed into the respective companies where they carried out their final sem projects. Akshay, Sanjay and Balvant at Applitect - Ahmedabad, Achal, Kartik and Sujata at Tata Finance - Mumbai, Rajesh Parmar and Jignesh at iNDEXTb Computer Center - Ahmedabad, Satyam at AEC - Ahmedabad, Alpesh at Intelicon - Ahmedabad, Mahavir at IOC - Baroda, Ambika at Reliance - Ahmedabad, Sanju at CORE - Ahmedabad. (and I don't remember all, let me know..).

31st March 99 : The e-groups started at the then, egroups.com, now YahooGroups.

Sept 99 : Jignesh goes back to DDIT to pay the debts - takes up as lecturer.

18th April 00 : Kintu becoming the first martyr in the group - gets married!.

12th June 00 : Balvant joins IDBI-Mumbai, shifts from Applitech.

18th Nov 00 : Kartik weds Dhwani in Ahmedabad.

1St Qtr 01 : Akshay weds in Ahmedabad (date??).

27th Apr 01 : Pratik weds Roam in Baroda.

13th May 01 : Satyam weds Vibhu in Ahmedabad.

29th May 01 : Mahavir weds Swati in Baroda.

14th Sep 01 : Kintu is again first - Group mein pehla baap bana!

Sanju weds, date malum nahi! (maha tell!)
