Gladys Mitchell: Novels under the Pseudonym - Stephen Hockaby

In the 1930's, Miss Mitchell began writing under the pseudonym "Stephen Hockaby."  These novels depart the mystery genre, and some are historical adventures.  Her work "Grand Master" is noted to be one of her finest accomplishments.
