The book A Far Side Collection is a MUST for Doxoholics

The Wienerkinger (also known as Dachsman) were aggressive, seafaring warriors, which haunted the eauropean coastal villages during the 8th and 9th century. It was never heard of that they actually killed their oponents, they were more known for the annoying habit of biting ankles. Even more interesting was their cry of war, described in old legends as a kind of yiffien cry. The Wienerkingers disappeared rather quickly from history, and the historians still argue why. The main theory is that they repeatedly and unadvertedly crossed the paths of the Rottweilerians, another obscure race, that all others made sure not to meet.

Thus we are sure, she IS pregnant. And as the wet season starts again (did it ever end this year?), and Hummel is not exactly a friend of rain

and to ensure that her growing baby tummy is not teased by wet rain, we mowed a couple of race tracks on the pasture, everything for our spoiled little brats.... well, we are a tiny bit crazy.... However, Hummel decided to rather not play model and sneaked back into the house, so that Bohne and Lisa had to present our new doxie-work-out-place:

Lisa insisted on getting into Hummels basket - wet as she was - a fact Hummel did not exactly appreciate...

However, a lot of times our 3 "youngsters" hang around together - though Hummel does not like to play so much now.

We also went to our doxie club yesterday, up to now Hummel is still able to walk the whole tour through the woods, here OUR version of Sit-and-Stay...!!! Only Pauline behaves lady-like. Lisa was sooo tired from playing with all the doxies that she fell into deep sleep in the club already.
