Fiona Florczak
Manchester-born Fiona has been dancing since the age of 3 and started her professional career at the age of 17. By 21 she was living in London and working as a commercial dancer, backing artistes such as Charlotte Church, Dannii Minogue, Chico, Lisa Scott-Lee, Jenni Frost and many others. She has also appeared on numerous TV shows and music videos and has travelled all over the world taking part in what has become a personal favourite of Fiona's: arena tours.
In her free time, Fiona teaches up and down the country and is amazed by the high standard of today's up-and-coming dancers. "It's events like this that makes me glad I'll be long-retired before I have to dance against today's talent. Good luck everybody - let the battles commence!"
BATTLE OF BRITAIN STREET DANCE
CHAMPIONSHIP 2005
Dancers from all over Britain gathered at the Bolton Arena for the Second competition to be staged their.
Children from the age of Five to Adults in their 20's entertained the crowd with some fantastic dancing. The standard Just keeps on getting better, Fiona Florczak professional dancer and judge for the day said" The standards were very high and the Semi Finals were difficult to Judge." She also added "It's good to see more boys are getting involved."
It was great to see so many youngsters having so much fun Fiona taught a really cool routine in the Break and in UDO tradition we held a fun competition to see who had picked up the routine the best and who gave it their own style.
The Solo Divisions where amazing so many talented dancers. and it was great to see the Duo's in action. Finally it came to teams and groups this just keeps getting better and better the level is getting pushed higher all the time.
The Next UDO event will see us head South to Bristol for the Welsh and West street Dance Championship See (EVENTS PAGE) It will be great to see Northern Dancers and teams Showcase their routines against some of the best teams from the South.
