I investigated the whereabouts of these families with the following results :

Some families changed their intentions and did not emigrate at all.
Other families received a travelling allowance and had indeed been in South
Prussia, but came back some months later in 1799. They still had to pay back
the travelling allowance, of which most of them were unable to, due to
poverty.
Other families settled at the estates of  Erbprinz Wilhelm von Oranien, most
of them lived there  still 1804, but left from there in 1804 or 1805  after
having  achieved enough of a travelling allowance, some of  them came back
to their home country before Oct. 19th,  1805.
