Darkness Part 4
There was darkness all around her again. She had been meditating and training all day. She had reached a stage in which she felt no fear. She knew what she had to do and nothing was doing to stop her now. In the distance she saw that same candle burning and flickering. She took a pace towards it but then stopped. Instead she raised her hand, palm forwards and shot a simple ki-beam towards the candle. It wasn't destroyed but the candle fell on the ground. The following light was so bright that Jima had to cover her eyes. When she looked again the entire area was lit up. She was actually in a room and although she couldn't she the walls she could feel them. Below her feet there was darkness, it was almost as if she was standing on air. It was all a trick, just to throw her of guard. But if wasn't working. Jima felt a cold distance towards the room. It wasn't real and more important then that is was her dream. So Jima closed her eyes and concentrated for a moment. The room around her started to fade and a moment later she was standing in a beautiful meadow with the sun high in the sky and no clouds anywhere. At the same time she set up her mind blocks. This area would not fade, as would the dream until she decided it would. When she opened her eyes he was standing right in front of her. She could see he was surprised that he found no fear in her eyes just determination. "So we meet again little sister". "And for the last time I can assure you that". "You think you can defeat me?" "I think so and even if I can't it will still be the last time we meet, I can have peace with either ways". Radditz laughed. "But before we get started, I want to know what you're doing in my dreams." "I'm visiting you from the other dimension. It easy to enter dreams from there". Jima saw the logic in that. The other dimension was sort of a dreamworld al by its self. "The goal is simple. We are slowly destroying your mind, making you one of us. And use you as a tool in this dimension to achieve other goals". "To bad your plan just failed". "It hasn't failed yet. It you die here we will still take over your mind". "No Radditz, if I die here I die in the physical world as well". "What!? That's not possible". "Please you're talking to the mind master here. You didn't think I could that precautions like that?" Suddenly Radditz took a blow at her. She as swung backwards. Quickly she got up from the ground and raced towards him. She clenched her first and swung it into his stomach. He stepped back, holding his stomach. Jima jumped in fighting stance. Radditz vanished and appeared behind her. Jima tried to kick him but she failed and he grabbed her by her neck, lifting her of the ground. He threw her away, slammed her into the ground and Jima laid on her back. She heard him approaching and she rotated, standing on her arms. She kicked back with all the force she had and Radditz was send crashing into a mountain. In would take him a moment to get back and Jima trying to regain strength. This was no use, he was still stronger then she was, she would never beat him. Then it suddenly hit her. This was her dream. He may have entered it, but she created it. Radditz knew he made a mistake when he got back and saw that grin on her face. Before his very eyes Jima started growing. She grew larger and larger and with it her powers grew. There were no boundaries, it was the dreamworld. She would be stronger then everyone. "This was your biggest mistake. You can't defy me in my own realm". And with that she took a final blow at him, vaporizing him. It was over. Jima shrunk down to normal size. She had faced her worst fear and won. She smiled to herself. "Well at least that's over," she said to no one. She yawned. But she was so very tired. She curled up on the ground and fell asleep shortly after that.
When she opened her eyes again she was lying in her bed. She felt more rested then she had been in along time. There were people standing around her but first she looked out the window. It was daytime although it was still very early. "Jima?" She recognized the voice as Dende's. "I'm fine". With a sigh of relief, Vegeta embraced her. "That bad huh?" she said. "You stopped breathing all of a sudden. We thought you were a goner," Kappa explained. "How did it go?" "Let's just say he won't bother me again". "All right Jima" Kappa shouted and clapped her on her back. "What you did was irresponsible Jima" Dende told her. "Maybe, but it was my choice and I don't need to answer to you". "You might want to answer to me though," Vegeta said. "Maybe later. I'd better make sure Sako and Korban get out of bed now" she said and left the room. The three people left in the room looked at each other and sighed. Then Kappa laughed. "Nothing" she answered her own question. "Absolutely nothing".
