SWEET RESTING PLACE OF PEACE DIVINE
Sweet resting place of peace divine
Oh at last I claim it as mine
Wrought to me through God's only begotten son
Finally...to me a great victory is won
Oh that all men could taste and see
How precious a rest this is to me
Only God's children can understand this precious true
My Savior means more to me than all the world to you
Many say that my faith is greatly misplaced
Yet I would suffer untold pain just to see his glorious face
He has done so much for his glory through my two hands
Oh how the humble hearts wait patiently on his plans
Oh if many times I could live
Then, I'd have more than just one life I could give
If I had but one more heart beat
I would welcome the chance to kneel at my Savior's feet
To tell him what he truly does mean to me
To thank my LORD for what work he did at Calvary...
