DeafTV is an affiliated member of the Melbourne Community Television Consortium – Channel 31

DeafTV is a community group among with many other community groups using Channel 31 broadcasting station.

DeafTV can:

• Broadcast DeafTV programs on Channel 31
• Send DeafTV email news & announcements to members
• Publish DeafTV newspapers
• Create information and educational videos, short films and movies
• Attend functions to videotape like weddings, funerals, sporting events and more.
• As a member, you can be involved in DeafTV – How?'

DeafTV COM wants to encourage Deaf people to become members:

• to receive DeafTV news
• to be involved in presenting DeafTV programs
• to help make / produce DeafTV programs
• to help as a volunteer with many things like administration

This is FOR Deaf people, an opportunity for everyone in the Deaf community!
You can help DeafTV and learn on the spot.
You can present on TV, host a show or create your own segment (show)!
You can do the Panel Discussion, News, Reviews and Interviews in DeafTV programs.
You could present a cooking program, gardening tips, show & tell, business advertising, announce oncoming events, give information

Or you could help make DeafTV programs by operating the cameras, tape, directing switchboards, lightings, floor managements and many more as a crew member. This can be at the DeafTV – Channel 31 studio or outside at an event.
You can even help editing DeafTV programs and translate for captioning!
It is a lot of fun!

You don’t need to be a member to just watch DeafTV programs!
