More about Debbie Fletcher Palmer
Welcome to my home on the Web! I'm Debbie, though you may know me as Joiya or Queen Katrin. Older friends may know me as joiya, Lady Glitterdust, Paladin's Lady, or one of a small handful of other online names. A very few of you who knew me long ago may know me as Kathie. Be that as it may, you are very welcome here, and I hope you enjoy your visit. This site is an evolution, rather than a creation. I surprise myself sometimes with the remnants of my very early sites, which I find buried within these pages. I am slowly working my way through the site, trying to standardize my code. Over time, I've developed some signature styles, but as with any evolution, things do change. The site was over 1000 pages on February 24, 1999,, and I've since lost track of how many pages there are, so I do not honestly expect to ever have it all exactly alike. I beg your indulgence, then, if you find something a bit different here and there. I also invite you to let me know so I can try to make it right. Enough of the disclaimer. When I first built the first site, I didn't know what I wanted it to say or do. It became a place to publish my poetry. It still does so, but later it became a place to acknowledge my friends. It still does that, as well. I have finally decided to simply allow this site to be a reflection of who I am, which is all it can ever really be in any case. I know others may not agree with my ideas from time to time. If they wish to disagree, GeoCities and other places will give them the space to do so. That's also one of the things email is for. I have reached a point in my life where these disagreements don't matter as much to me.
On to happier subjects. I love making new cyber friends. I'd really like to meet the people who visit my page, and hopefully become friends if we are not already. Please be sure to sign my guestbook before you leave. *S*
