July 3, 1988
One o'clock,
Two o'clock,
Barry, where are you?
Five past two,
Ten past two,
Barry, please come home.
Half past two,
Three o'clock,
Barry, I'm getting sleepy.
Quarter past,
Half past three,
Barry, it's getting late.
I'm sitting up this morning,
Waiting for the traveler.
I'm sitting up tonight
To make sure he gets home.
He's coming from Ohio
To live in the Green Mountains.
He's been driving sixteen hours,
And soon he should be home.
Half past,
Thirty-five,
Twenty 'til the hour:
Please, Barry Latshaw,
Come home to us soon.
For Barry.
