I was born
An ordinary mortal.
I was born
With ordinary powers.
I was born
A simple person.
So then why
Have I changed?
I am still
An ordinary person.
I still have
Ordinary powers.
I want to be
A simple person.
But my life
Has become complex.
I was born
With a capacity for loving.
I was born
With an ability to care.
I was born
With a sense for other people.
My inborn powers
Manifest strangely.
I have used
My capacity to love.
I have used
My ability to care.
I have sensed
All manner of people.
I have personal power
Which I cannot lose.
I have power
In my heart.
I have power
In my soul.
I have power
That is not mystic.
I am happy
Being me.
