Powers of darkness
All around,
Seeking a weakness
Seeking to wound.
Powers of darkness
Pressing close,
Seeking to enter -
Life's flame to douse.
Powers of darkness
Yielding to Light,
Jesus our Savior
Has shown forth His might.
No more the darkness
Encroaching on life -
Light in eternity
Will be our Life.
