Fears surround
Faceless masks
Taunting me.
Insecurities
Rise unbidden
Tormenting me.
Imagination
Twisted worries
Torturing me.
Anxious.
Worried.
Frightened.
Alone.
Love's light hidden
In anxious darkness.
Love's warmth smothered
By weighing worry.
Love's hope scattered
On winds of fear
As alone in the night
I wait for you.
