Trust and faith
I placed in you.
My feelings
And my thoughts you knew.
A fool I was
To trust you so.
My inner pain
You cannot know.
I cared for you
With all my heart.
Now my caring
Is torn apart.
I'd been in love,
But not with you.
That kind of caring
Was something new.
I knew your feelings
Were not for me.
I knew my caring
You could not see.
I felt for you
As for a brother.
I knew your thoughts
Were for another.
Your lack of feelings
I forgive.
But with your cruelty
I'll not live.
