It matters so little
What the world thinks,
For we have our love
To carry us through.
Our future is tenuous,
Yet also is certain,
For we trust one another,
And believe in tomorrow.
I dream in the waking,
And in the sleeping,
But the spring is no dream -
The springtime is real.
I have asked the Lord God
To guide our future,
And to grant wisdom and courage
To our decisions.
God in His wisdom
Will give us the choices
Which we will choose from
To seal our destinies.
Our future is tenuous,
Yet also is certain,
For we make our decisions
On love and on faith.
