The sun on shimmering leaves doth fall,
And all of nature hears the call,
Of spring in the high mountains.
The clouds in glory ride the air,
And breezes blow without a care,
As spring breaks in the mountains.
The grasses wave in cheering fields
And creatures of the earth do yield
To spring upon the mountains.
The joy of day flows true and long
And all of nature sings the song
Of spring in the high mountains.
