To the Army

Now I'm in the Army,
I work both day and night.
I pray for time in chapel
To sleep as best I might.
Oh, the Army life is long!
Oh, but we're gonna be strong!
Now I'm in the Army,
I eat within a breath.
I just get through the serving line
And always starve to death.
Oh, the Army life is long!
Oh, but we're gonna be strong!
Now I'm in the Army,
I live withroaches near.
I go to take a shower,
And they kick me out of there.
Oh, the Army life is long!
Oh, but we're gonna be strong!
Now I'm in the Army,
I march all through the day.
I march until my soles fall off,
But they say I must stay.
Oh, the Army life is long!
Oh, but we're gonna be strong!
Now I'm in the Army,
But I am getting out.
The doctors cry "Unstable!"
In joy I give a shout.
Oh, they're gonna make us strong!
Oh, but for me the Army's wrong!
