Have you had a chance to get your Bible and your favorite cup of java or drink yet? Good I'm glad you've made it. Today, We are going to Read Luke 16

Let's pray: Father, Thank you for today. Father open my eyes to what you want me to see in your word today. Holy Spirit I invite you here and help me to understand how and where I need to apply what you are going to show me and your heart. In Jesus name, Amen.

Chapter 16 focuses alot on STEWARDSHIP and CHARACTER. What kind of steward and what kind of character to you have?

Jesus made some statements that should cause each of us to examine ourselves. Does how you handle your daily life and responsibilities carry over to how you will handle the things of God?

      Read 16:10
"Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won't be faithful in large ones. If you cheat even a little, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities.

      1) Jesus said that if you cheat/ are dishonest when you have little responsibilities. What did he say you will do with greater responsibilities?_______________________________________

The above question & scripture really causes me to wonder; if we realize that this is true. Personally, it challenges me to want to make sure I develop integrity in all areas of my life.

      2) What do you think about Jesus' statement?________________________________________

      3) Do you think this can affect your reputation? and why?___________________________

      Read Luke 16:11
And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?

      4) Jesus refers to worldly wealth and contrasts it with how you will handle the true riches of heaven (spiritual). If you are untrustworthy with worldly wealth can you be trusted with the true riches of heaven?______________________________________________

      5) Does verses 16:10 & 16:11 cause you to realize how important it is to have integrity in whatever you do, big and small? _________________________________________________________

If we are really honest with ourselves, the answer having integrity in every aspect of what we do and say, we definitely need improvement. I recommend asking the Holy Spirit to point out to you daily where you can apply what you have learned in the above verses. You will be surprised what he shows you.
