Grief is part of being human Grief: is an intense emotional suffering caused by loss, disaster, misfortune, etc; acute sorrow; deep sadness. Mourning: is the actions or feelings of someone who mourns; specifically the expression of grief at someone's death.
There are 5 recognizable stages of Grief

Each person goes through these stages of grief...but no one goes thru them exactly the same way or in the same order as someone else....
Grief while a "shared" emotion [in that almost everyone eventually grieves the loss of someone/something]....is a very unique emotion [in that we each grieve our own way]

Don't compare your grief to someone else's.....your grief is your own....
