Although Folken x Eries is not my preferred pairing, i do think the concept has merit. A Folken and Eries marriage would have united Fanelia and Asturia's royal families. They both have a certain compelling and melancholy beauty (i could drown in their gorgeous dark eyes. i bet, though, that Eries wishes she could have a teardrop tattoo like Folken's to accentuate her eyes ^o^) He's tall, and she has a regal bearing that gives her stature, if not actual tallness. They'd have lots of things to talk about, e.g. younger siblings whom they love but have difficulties with...And sometimes Eries seems like a nun, while Folken is a "fallen angel" - an odd but poetically apt pair of metaphors, IMHO.

Allen Crusade Schezar VIII
Here indeed, is the man for Eries. He and she have a palpable connection to each other that is evident even in the few moments when they interacted. The way i see it, what Marlene & Millerna felt for Allen was mostly infatuation, they saw him as the proverbial knight in shining armor. But shining armor notwithstanding, the guy has some serious issues. Eries does not have M&M's problem; she is not the type to have illusions about him. She sees him as he truly is; thus she cares enough to tell him off when he returned to Palas, and to help him when he asks her for a favor. This is why i believe there's something there, and little wonder that they're one of my most favored Gaean couples.

Yes Dryden! Actually i want him for myself but, since i cannot 'ship Dryden x me, i graciously acquiesce to Dryden x Millerna, and if i somehow manage to write that Millerna shoujo-ai fic i've been thinking about, then that will leave Dryden free for Eries. bwahahahahaaa!!! No, seriously, i really do think they could be good together, if they weren't so in love with other people.
Gaddes
He's jaunty. He's sexy. It's easy to see how our princess could become attracted to this man's particular brand of rakish charm a la Han Solo. And perhaps you noticed he's the only man on this list so far whose name does not end in "-en"? {lol} There's some Gaddes x Eries action in Four Minutes by Didodikali though it's principally a Dryden x Millerna fic; i highly recommend it, but only if you're legal, as it's NC-17 ^.^
