Our house might not be the best house around but it keeps us out of the elements. It does need work since a flood took out our living room and we have to save to get the money to do excavation and rebuild it. Our vehicles are not the newest or the most up to date and usually need work (thanks to a good friend who is mechanic) but it does get us from point a to point b and enables me to do a little bit of side work when I can get it.
We have clothes, maybe not brand new or "hip" or whatever but they are clean and functional for what we need. And there are plenty of places to pick up clothes for next to nothing or nothing at all around here.
We manage to house not only our family but also four dogs, two cats, five rabbits, five goats and about fifty chickens.
Our food is not always from a grocery store where you can just heat and eat. We eat our share of deer meat and wild turkey along with fish that we caught and vegatables out of one of our two gardens.
And just stop to imagine, there are people out there worse off than we are!
