Darla Does LA

Okay, this is the page where I bust on Darla. I will write a commentary about her for the episodes she appears in.

"Judgement"


Season premiere. Darla was brought back to life by Wolfram and Hart as we saw in the season finale. Okay, She is 400 years old. If you were 400 years old and dead and undead and then undead dead, would you be feeling okay after only a couple of months? And would you be wearing a cute little purple tank dress and listening to Chopin and flirting with Lindsey? And then ready to scheme on Angel? I'm just asking.


"First Impressions"


Ugh. My favorite Darla quotes from this one-
Darla-"You take care of so many people, but who takes care of you?"
Angel-"You do."
Darla-"Now you just relax and let Darla take care of you... all you have to do is let me .....I could just eat you up."
Okay, after spending the rest of the night gagging after that one, I can NOT believe what they were suggesting there and that it was on a 9 o'clock air time.
I mean, was she supposed to be giving him a bj or what?

"The Reunion"


Last episode, Darla was finally at peace with her new humaness. hen crummy ol' Dru had to come and make her undead yet again. Everyone who's sick of Darla being reborn raise your hand!!!!! Also, I just have to make mention here of Darla and Dru's shopping/killing spree. They found simply LOVELY outfits of red and gold pleather. Oh girls, it's sooo hot! Wear the cotton undies under those! Also, in the wine cellar, a/k/a cellar of death, we got to see that Darla and Dru do indeed resemble each other. They have the same stomachs!!! There was no missed opportunities to show those midriffs!!! Maybe those midriffs are making Angel forget that he's on the GOOD side, DAMNIT!

"Redefinition"


Okay, Darla had a black sleeveless top with a red dragon on it on in this episode. She should send it to me when she's done. And wow, look at the girl with the made up face. She looked like a cover girl vamp. But still, this did nothing to make me like her more. I have come to the conclusion that she needs to die AGAIN. But for good this time. IS there anyone else out there who is so aggravated with Darla...especially in her dealings with Lindsay. I just so ho hum to this plot line. It's like "The Initiative" plot line of Angel. Time to hang it up, boys and girls. Even Dru had it, she made a beeline for Spike, and hey, who could blame her.
