Conspiracy theory #1- He will try to kill Angel.
I think that Wesley obviously was meant to replace everyone's favorite half demon, Doyle. But what is he really doing in L.A., besides rogue demon hunting?  He's not exactly interested in Cordelia as Doyle was. He's willing to kill Angel, as evident in Angel's comment in "I've Got You Under My Skin", "I know you're not planning to kill me, Wesley. But you're willing to and that's good."

Conspiracy theory #2- He is secretly the Good Humor man.
What is with all of those white suits? I k now it's warm year round in California, but last time I checked the summer consisted of three months called June, July and August.

Conspiracy theory #3- All that kissing up is actually getting him somewhere.
I am telling you, I don't trust this guy. He is going to earn all of the trust and respect he can from Angel and Cordy and then stab them in the back someday.

Conspiracy theory #4- Kate and Wesley will hit it off.
Think about it. Blonde tough cop meets debonair ex-watcher. She gives him a hard time at first, but then she realizes being with Wesley is the next best thing to being with Angel. That way she will get to see Angel all the time. hahahahahaha.

Conspiracy theory #5- c Sans MS"> That fumbling and clumsiness is really a cover.
Do they think we would actually believe someone that agile would slip on those coffee beans? I think Wesley is really a highly trained tae kwon doe master and could kick Angel's ass up and down the street. They just want us to beleive he is a big klutz, so that someday they can spring us with a superhero Wesley.

Conspiracy theory #6- How about Wesley with the crossbow?
In "The Ring", Wesley goes to the bookie to find an MIA Angel and shows further proof of being a super cool avenger. He ends up nailing the bookies hand to the wall with an arrow and then cleverly fetching his gun and threatening them all with it, as well as letting the guy they were beating on go!   Is this really something a silly, blitheri ng Wesley would do?

Conspiracy theory #7- Where did he learn all of that crazy X-Files-like autopsy experience?
Wesley somehow knows just how to find out the cause of the demon ooze AND find what the demon wants too! He is even shown sporting rubber gloves and a doctor's mirror thingy on his head while dissecting some demon part! See epis "I've Got You Under My Skin", "The Prodigal" And I'm sure many epis to come.

Conspiracy theory #8- So okay, now they want us to beleive Wesley is an expert marksman, too!!!!
This theory was sent to me by Mayuka1120. She wonders how Wesley shot that can of gas so dead on in the epi, "Expecting".   Num ber one, where did he learn to shoot like that? Number two, why did he have a gun? I thought the Watcher's Council was only trained with crossbows and the like! What...do they have firearms instruction now?


Conspiracy theory #9- All of a sudden, Wesley has a back bone...this is NOT normal!
Way to stand up to Angelus in "Eternity"! He probably wanted to stake him. But hey once he got thrown against the wall, I guess he couldn't have done it anyway!

Conspiracy theory #10- He tells Angel he trust him and that's why he didn't make that deal with the council.
But gee, here's how much he trusts him;
"It's because I trust you, well, more than three gun toting maniacs!" Feeling the love there?

Conspi racy theory #11- He was really in 'Nam (possibly in a past life)
and he's getting all these flashbacks of being an expert marksman and such.

Conspiracy theory #12 - Way to make a mistake translating, Wes!
While translating the ancient text of Obersian, he translated  the word "shanshu" to mean death. He tells Angel he will die. LATER ON he finds that it means to live and that Angel will be human! As Cordy said, "As far as little mistakes go, THAT'S NOT ONE!"
