Angelic Layer is about Misaki
Suzuhara, a 12 year old elementary school student who just arrived in
Tokyo to go to school and live with her aunt, Shouko. Soon after arriving
in Tokyo Misaki discovers the new and extremely popular game
"Angelic Layer". Angelic Layer is a game in which
robotic doll's called "Angels" designed and optimized by their owners battle on a
"Layer". Misakichi, as she is called by her
friends, quickly advances through the ranks on her way to the
championships, meeting many people and learning many things along the
way. Little does she know that there is someone waiting for her at
the end of her journey, someone very precious to Misaki, someone she
hasn't seen for a long time.
