" Let the Festival Begin! "

Ok, so ever the years that Ortygia has been around, there have been many many people that have helped me out to make this site, to mantain it, and that have given me the will to keep on struggling with it to make it what it is today. Some of them helped me directly, others inspired me through their own dedication. All of them are wonderful persons and some of them are the best friends I could have encountered.

This is Ortygia's homage to them, to those who struggle to keep the Dream alive. To those that still dare to believe.

For all the ones that inspire me, help me, make me laugh.... for all the ones that I look up to, that make me set higher objectives and force me not to give up.

For them I take off my hat and bow.

So here is the list of those special persons ^-^ (in no particular order):

• My mom, the mighty green-eyed watercolours queen: If someone should be in this list, she is the one. For being able to deal with her mad and dangerous daughter, for always supporting my dreams, even when she does not agree with them most of the time, for giving me pencils and books when I was little and encouraging me to take over the world, for teaching me english and making the world broader for me, for making me who I am today, and who I will be in the future

• Asuka-sama (owner of the Anime no Kokoro-ML) and Reiko-chan (owner of the Saint Seiya-ML): Well, what can I say about these two sisters? They run two of the best mailing lists in spanish that I have ever encountered, which are probably that good because Asuka and Reiko have never surrendered to the difficulties, they have kept struggling, worrying over every member, be it a newcomer or a regular, making everybody feel comfortable and welcomed. They are just like Pegasus, always climbing the cliff, no matter how many times or how hard they might have fallen ^_~. Their perseverance and good-will are admirable, and their friendship is something I will always hold dear.

• Ita-chan, Yui and Keily Shinra: Well, for all of you that have already visited this site, you probably know these three names ^-^. Ita-chan and Yui are the two talented sisters whose works can be seen at the Partners in Crime section. With their works can also be seen those of Keily Shinra, who is also one of the extraordinary persons whose colaboration to this site came as an absolutely surprise. To the three of you, THANKS A LOT ^_~, you were there since the very beginning, even when Ortygia was nothing but a crappy site then, and have stayed around ever since.

• Scorps, Astermare, Ipio, Amara grl, DedlySalrSaturn and Wicked-Hotaru from Bolt: These six persons are my comrades in looooooots of RPGs, and their extremely good humour, outstanding ability to write great scenes and their ooc comments are the best 'inspiration drug' that one can find. Thanks for all the crazy moments, girls!

• Andromeda Hime: My virtual oneesan and personal art critic ^_^y. Andromeda is so great and funny, and her knowledge on both StS and mythology is outstanding! *And* she puts up with most of my little insane ideas and existencial doubts, and believe me, that deserves an extra cookie ^_^U

• Samy '' Shura '' -sama: My virtual oniisan, personal archangel and patron of arts *huggles* I will never be able to thank him enough for all he does for me and for all the support he has given me. A million thank yous!!!

• Altair Lisa, a.k.a Famine : Webmistress of Shaina's Sphere, first defender of the Snake-Holder, writer of OaDS, sister in riderhood and dearest friend, Lisa's been there for all my ups and downs, making me laugh with our theories about the Valentine Saints, Shaina, Seiya, Marin and Aiolia. You are a great friend and a great writer, don't you ever forget that, Lisa!

• Toffee *derre hugs her fellow conqueror* a.k.a Madness : '' Animae dimidium meae '' (half my own soul), Toffee not only is an outstanding writer, an incredibly funny and creative person who has an impecable taste on her favourite saints (them being also my favourites has nothing to do with this comment ^_~), but we also think incredibly alike (O_O maybe we are long lost sisters! lol!). She is a wonderful person, a very patient teacher -her c&c on my writings have helped me a looot- and an incredible friend *smooches* . Beware, world, because we *will* take over! ^____^ hehehe!

• Viviane 'Boadicea' Reber: Webmistress of one of the three 'must visit' Saint Seiya sites (the other two are Stayka's and the Saint Seiya section in Anime Art, IMHO, of course ^_^), her wonderful fan fiction and her HUUUUUUUGEEEEE homepage were what made me start thinking about building a site of my own. She is also the first person to publish one of my drawings on the net, for what I'm incredibly grateful ^-^ Saying 'thanks' isn't enough to express how much I owe her.

• Stayka-sama: Webmistress of probably the largest and most complete site on Saint Seiya, her nick is probably known by every Saint Seiya fan that ever got online ^-^ Thanks to her initiative of the defenders, I have now my little shrine dedicated to Kraken Isaac (Go, Krakky!) Yet, IMHO, what makes her site so special is the incredible feedback that exists between the visitors and her, and all the 'interactive' activities/ideas that her site promotes, it's the only site (from the ones that I've visited, of course ^_~) where I've seen something like this happening and with so positive results.

• Torquemada aka Malice: My sister of arms at three 'lines of defense', 1st Defender of the Asgardians, talented writer and Webmistress of Asgard's Crypt of Doom, her presence in this section is due more than anything to the fact that her site is one of my favourite ones at the moment ^_^ considering she knows a looooot about Norse Mythology, and her analysis on the Asgard chapter and its characters is incredibly interesting, and IMHO, one of the best around. Probably one of the few persons who actually cares about what they are posting, her site is a must-see for all the Asgard fans out there

• Millerna aka Plague: My conscience ^_~ , dearest friend, cause of the -ssa disease and head impaled at Ortygia's gate under Narci's watch *huuuuuggles* . Ok, so herssa kidnaps my characters every now and then and does not return them.... and she also makes me change their sexual inclination and stuff... and she is making me write the oddest saga/artemis thingie... but I would be so lost without her, kidnappings and all. Thaaaaaaanks a lot for always being there for messa, Millie!!!

• The mighty riders!!! Not at the top of the list because the whole riders' business started after I had made this section, yet at the top and core of my heart. Without their encouragement, their support, their friendship and all the wacky moments, nothing of this would have been possible. So to Plague , Death, Famine, Lust , Madness, Wrath, Deception and Malice .... THANKS A LOOOOOOOOOOOOT GALS!!! You know War luvs ya!

• The Midgar Studio people! Because it is always nice to know that one is not the only psycho around

• My brother: For buying the PS2 and thus making my ''Devil May Cry'' obsession grow ^_^
