Information: The Generation Preachers are pretty much the official tribute band to the Manics who come from the West Midlands. The Preachers have four members, and it is apparently quite a strange experience watching 'Richey' playing along to the new hits. They're not all that keen on the obsessive fans, because at the end of the day they're not the real thing and they're not trying to. They are simply paying tribute to the Manics musical talents. None of them actually look anything like the real members, and Richey can actually play guitar really well.. But none-the-less they sound great and attract a lot of fans to see them - they even took part in a spoof-MSP in Cuba evening in association with NME.

The site is rarely updated and most of the links and all of the pictures don't actually work.. : ( Therefore I have used some information from the site here simply because the site is hard to access, and the GPs deserve some recognition!!
