Oif Simchas in
Yiddish means, 'at celebrations' or 'at happy occasions. Sofie
and Yossi who love Israeli dance and have been involved with
it for many years started this small company. It blossomed in
response to a need and many requests that we lead dancing and
enhance their special 'Smachot'.
We promote, lead, teach and present Israeli dance at different
functions. We have worked at bar mitzvahs, weddings, chagim,
conventions, organizations and synagogue groups. Our goal is
to get everyone to participate and enjoy Israeli culture through
music and movement. We are extremely versatile and have worked
with every age including families where ages run form three
to seventy. Our fees are reasonable and depend on the event
and services provided. We will work with an orchestra or provide
our own music. Our programs can be part of an evening or the
whole evening depending on the occasion and circumstances.
