Sources of Information on Rhode Island and Connecticut Trails

The state of Rhode Island has information on bike paths. At this site, there is a button to click for requesting a state bike map "Guide to Cycling in the Ocean State." This shows maps and has information on the state's bike paths.

For a Connecticut Bicycle Map go to this site and click the bicycle map tab to get an email address for requesting the map. to purchase a pamphlet "Pathways Through Connecticut" go to this site, then click on MAPS and there are a list of publications. Pathways through Connecticut Costs $3.00 plus postage. It shows all the bike paths in the state indexed by town. The maps for the longer trails, through more than one town are on consequtive pages.

It is also possible to find printable maps of all these trails in the parmphlet by going to the Dept of Transportation site. Click on "Map Index to Trails". Which will connect to a map of the state showing all the trails. Clicking on any trail number will connect to a map and information. The trails are organized by town. Longer trails that pass through more than one town are organized consecutively.
