Exploring Faith

Biblical Explorations

A 4 week exploration of the parables of Jesus – or – what the heck do those stories mean? The parables of Jesus have been the focus of much of the cutting edge of theological study in recent years. Are these tiny perfect stories the closest we can get to what Jesus really said? Are they like Aesop’s fables - guides on good living? Do they tell of a world turned inside out and upside down? Let’s decide together! This will be a facilitated discussion with study resources provided. Wednesday evenings 7:15 – 8:30 p.m. in the chapel space (after Taizé Prayer) October 3rd, 24th, 31st and November 7th.
